Carolyn "Cat" Bedell is a freelance illustrator, currently residing in Northeast Ohio.

She is a believer and advocate for acceptance, accessibility, and inclusion in children's entertainment and in her illustration work, which is inspired by cartoons from her childhood and present day.

She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Animation in 2021, with a concentration in Story and Concept Development. She loves cartoons, bright saturated colors, and wacky expressions, and she hopes her artwork brightens your day!

Cat has also dabbled in puppetry, participating in charity fan zines, public speaking at numerous fandom focused conventions, and researching animation history. She enjoys a good bagel and lox sandwich.

In online spaces and at conventions, she uses the moniker "DeadPossumCo", and is one of the active representatives of the Toon Furs subculture.
