Graphic Design Works
While employed as a Youth Services Associate at Westlake Porter Public Library in Westlake, OH, Cat was tasked with creating graphic design and illustrative pieces for numerous different community wide programs from 2023-2025.
2024 Summer Library Challenge Log and Flat Suma Design
Working closely with Westlake Porter Public Library's PR and Marketing Director, Heather Feenaughty, Cat designed the below log for Westlake Porter Public Library's annual Summer Library Challenge. This log was posted online, on Westlake Porter Public Library's website, in their bi-monthly program of events, and available for in-person pick up at the library.
For the entirety of the Summer Library Challenge program, patrons could also pick-up a printed copy of Flat Suma, which Cat also designed for this year's program. Patrons are encouraged to cut out Flat Suma, take her on adventures throughout the summer, and post pictures of her on social media using #FlatSuma.

Below is fan art created of Cat's version of Suma the Puma, by local patrons.
From 2023 to 2024, Cat re-designed the "Suma the Puma" character's design. From a nearly life-sized plush that guards the Youth Services Department donated to the library in the 1970s to the finished realized cartoon used in marketing for the Summer Library Challenge, Suma's re-design was a fun project to tackle! Below is a gallery showing the evolution of "Suma the Puma"'s design.

Mini Zine created for 2023 Free Comic Book Day Event
The above digital comic was created for Westlake Porter Public Library for their annual Free Comic Book Day Event, as a free physical printed booklet that was passed out to patrons who visited during the event. This comic also featured re-designed versions of Westlake Porter Public Library and The Friends of the Porter Library's mascots. Suma the Puma, who introduces the readers to the Youth Services Department would be further re-designed for 2024's Summer Library Challenge Log and #FlatSuma materials (see above).
Interactive Illustrations
This section is dedicated to a variety of different interactive illustrative designs made for themed Escape Room in a Box programs at Westlake Porter Public Library in 2025.
Fortune Teller - Participants must follow steps given in kit to decode the inside message to figure out one of the numbers needed to unlock the next clue.
Scratch-Off Tentacles - Participants must correctly chose the right tentacle stickers on this kraken to scratch off to get a coin and move onto the next puzzle.
Morse Code Shipwreck! - Participants must find the hidden morse code number on the ship to unlock the crate.
Unofficial Camp Chimera Merit Badges
Below is a gallery of unofficial merit badges designed for the online Camp Chimera event run by HeyitsZray, PeriPendrake, and Chowfur over the summer of 2025.
Using a limited color palette and a mainly lineless art style, these badges commemorate some of the digital events hosted by the different "cabins" during the event. Click on the below badges to learn more about these events.
